When starting this project we asked ourselves, as designers, how can we improve our products in order to make as small environmental impact as possible?
After talking to sustainability experts it soon became clear that the only thing we could do was to improve the quality of the product. In order to do that we needed to prolong the lifetime of our products. For us this means improving the hardware quality and making it easier to upgrade and repair our product so that the users can use it for a longer time.
This project was made as a concept to spread knowledge and information about sustainability inhouse and what we can do as hardware designers to improve our products.
My work included ideation, concept creation for hardware and software, 3d work, 3d renderings and making presentation and sell in material.
